Travelling to Alone is just an extraordinary experience. I fell in love with this place. On August 7-11, 2017, I went to Cebu city alone. I only rely on my maps powered by GPS because without it I could have went back to General Santos City. That would be an epic! While on the plane, I was already thinking of what would be the possible things that may happen to me in Cebu City. My heart trembled faster upon arrival at Mactan Airport. That was a memorable feeling. Why did I travelled to Cebu City? Cebu is rich in historical places and I haven't been there. Why alone? Simple! Different persons, different faces... one gift. Being different is not always means to be pathetic it sometimes means that you are a special one. Many people nowadays are just looking at the physical aspect of a person that they believe outside look is your gift but think about it, gift is given by our God that can never be change so when your looks is the gift then why can it easily improve it? Let's think about this thought “not all you see is the answer”, but the sad thing is there are so many people who didn't recognize that thought it is because they just allow themselves to be blinded form the reality. But there also person who always tend to ignore all the true gift from our God; the question is what is the real gift God given unto us? Love, love ,love, every person has a gift of love ,hence we can love other person truthfully than what is expected, right? A love for our parents, brothers, sisters, or even strange persons in our life. But again love is not the real gift....

Alone (Short Story)

ALONE (a Short Story) Suddenly I was awakened. Someone was calling me, shouting. I looked at the window straight under our Chico tree. Saturday's tie was in the tree but there was no Saturday that was patiently sitting and waiting to feed him. Saturday was been my parents present in my tenth birthday. Brown furred and bulging eyes defines my dog. Saturday was living under our Chico tree on our front yard. Every morning we used to see Saturday sleeping at my mother's couch with scratches and feces on it.  'It was disgusting'.  Maybe being a naughty was innate to all Chihuahua. I remembered my elementary classmate who had told me that 'if you want to make your home miserable just keep Chihuahua in your house'. I love Saturday even he was frequently doing those misdeeds.
